AKC Tricks Class – Novice level introduces 10-15 trick behaviors over the course of 4 weeks with the option to test at the end of week 4. The novice test does allow food luring and food rewards to be used/given during the test.

AKC Fit Dog Classes

PAWSitively Obedient, Hanover – Althea Chasse CATCH CTA
AKC Fit Dog Class – Level 1 – introduces and practices the following skills:
- tuck sit, kickback stand, shake a paw, stand/down/stand
- front paw targeting, cookie stretches, spin – left and right, privoting with rear legs
Each week will involve fitness related items, including cardio/warm up skills, stretch/fitness skills, and cool down/flexibility skills.This class can be used to gain your Bronze AKC Fit Dog Title. You would also need to complete one group walk with us (at least 1 mile) or other item from the Bronze Title checklist.
Canine Good Citizen Prep Class is 5 weeks of practicing the 10 AKC CGC test items. We practice as a group and work on adding distractions and building fluency with the test items. Testing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Exam is offered separately.

Community Canine or CGC Advanced Class is 5 weeks of practicing the 10 AKC CGCA test items. We practice as a group both inside and outside when available with the test items. Testing for the AKC Community Canine Test is offered on week 5.
